Quarrying
L&W Stone Sales in 2005 were equivalent to 300,000 Tons of which 98,000 Tons came from L&W Stone owned quarries in Idaho, Oklahoma and California.

Since 1996, L&W Stone has owned the only quarry for the beautiful Three Rivers Stone. Called the most unique flagstone by builders, Three Rivers Stone™ is an exceptionally strong material with a high level of workability and ease of fabrication. This very unique quartz sandstone can withstand up to 18,000 pounds/square inch and temperature extremes.
Three Rivers Stone boasts very distinct colors including golden brown, light blue, plums and warm grays. This beautiful range of color is complimented by crystalline formations called dendrites—named for the Greek word meaning “tree”, which the formations resemble. The dendrites in Three Rivers Stone appear like fossilized leaves, but these delicate leaf patterns are actually the microscopic paths of water that has seeped into the stone and calcified.
Petrified Seashore – beautiful colors and ease of workability
Petrified Seashore sandstone is quarried from three L&W Stone owned mining sites in Oklahoma. This beautiful sandstone ranges in color from dark to light buff, pale green as well as shades of grays, browns and terra cotta..
Moss Rock
Quarried in California and considered a staple landscaping product to retailers and landscape architects.

L&W Stone operates the largest stone tumbler in the nation, a water jet for radius work, as well as cross cutting and coring capabilities.
